This was a very important step for our team as the winter darkness in Seattle combined with our work schedules makes it challenging to practice at the level we'd prefer. For example, I volunteered to help teach beginning Optimist sailors with one of Sail Sand Point’s learn to sail programs this summer in Kirkland after the two regattas So your grant went to a lot of kids.”
